1. Providing legal advice; corresponding with the departments of Avaesa and explaining legal compliances and requirements etc.
2. Provide advice on contract requirements, legal risks, and liabilities, with research to evaluate risk factors impacting business decisions and operations, and apply effective risk management techniques, offer proactive advice on risk factors
3. Communicate and negotiate with internal and external parties (e.g. contractors/ employees, authorities, external collaborators, etc) and adhere to deadlines about these relationships and on a wide range of legal issues impacting the company's operations
4. Evaluate legal claims and disputes, providing strategic guidance on resolution strategies
5. Research, Draft, review, and approve agreements, contracts, and other legal documents across the business to ensure Avaesa s rights and interests are protected
6. Provide clarification as the first point of reference to business functions on legal compliance requirements, internal processes and pre-contract due diligence, contract/document drafting and review, and related issue
7. Maintain current knowledge of amendments of legislation or changes in law relevant to Avaesa s business in jurisdictions where Avaesa operates, including preparing training materials and implementing internal process
8. Liaising with fellow professionals on behalf of Avaesa
9. Keeping up to date with the organization s policies and documents and making sure that they are implemented
10. Working closely with HR and preparing the audit checklist and SOP etc.
